?If you’ve ever been to a Rapp auction, you’ll know that it’s an unforgettable experience. This is partly because of the sale itself: this is probably the only place in the auction world where you’ll see so many buyers from so many different countries attending in person.

The babel of languages sometimes stretches the skills even of our polyglot employees, and the rapid toing and froing between postal, telephone, internet and floor bids, and between the auction room and our numerous large viewing rooms, make for a truly exciting experience. It is this excitement, combined with the exquisite quality of the lots on offer, which leads so many people to travel often long distances to attend in person.
