IMPORTANT NOTE

Please note that, for logistical reasons, deliveries can only be made at the times and dates indicated.
No deliveries can be made at the Zurich representative office.

All auction invoices must be settled by 10 December 2025.
Failure to meet this payment deadline will result in immediate default.
Peter Rapp AG reserves the right to charge interest at the current rate of 5% per annum.

Payment Information

Payment Deadline
All auction invoices must be paid in Swiss Francs (CHF) by 10 December 2025, regardless of whether the auction lots will be collected at a later date in person at our auction house in Wil/SG or shipped at a later time.

SHIPING

Once full payment has been received, we are happy to provide professional packaging and coordinate shipping for your auction lots.

You may choose from the following three options:

• Personal pickup at the Rapp Auction House in Wil SG

• Shipping via our logistics partners

• Self-organized pickup by a transport company of your choice

Important: Shipments and dispatches can only be made until 16 December 2025 and will resume from 6 January 2026. No shipping will take place outside of this period.

Shipping within Switzerland is handled by Swiss Post. For international shipping (excluding the USA), we work with established logistics partners such as FedEx.

Shipping rates – valid for shipments within Switzerland, Europe, and overseas (excluding the USA):

*These rates do not apply to shipments to the United States. Different conditions and pricing apply for shipping to the USA (see section below).

This includes packaging, administrative handling, transport via reputable carriers (e.g., FedEx), and export customs clearance.

Please note that shipping costs for large or complex shipments may be adjusted individually.

For stamps and coins: more economical shipping option available upon request

Cost-effective international Shipping
For our international clients, we strongly recommend using a courier service. This shipping method is reliable, usually delivered promptly, and can be fully tracked and supervised by our staff.
Upon explicit request, we also offer a more economical shipping option via Swiss Post. Please note that with this option, tracking and supervision by our staff are not possible, and we cannot provide assistance in case of delivery or customs issues.
In most cases, recipients are required to handle import customs formalities themselves.

Costs for the economical option:
Europe: CHF 40.–
Overseas: CHF 60.–

This shipping method must be explicitly requested and is not recommended by us.

Customs and VAT

Please be aware that international shipments require export and customs documentation. The preparation of these documents is complex and is reflected in the shipping costs.

Import duties, local VAT, or customs fees in the destination country are beyond our control and must be covered by the buyer.

INSURANCE

Comprehensive shipping insurance through Planzer or another logistics provider can be arranged via Rapp Auction House. The premium is 0.5% of the invoice amount.

Shipping Information for Whisky & Wine

The Rapp Auction House does not offer its own shipping service for whiskies, spirits, or wines.
We are not logistically equipped for this and do not have the necessary permits for the international shipment of such goods. Furthermore, please note that we cannot guarantee professional packaging for these items.

In general, you have the following options for receiving the items you have won:

  • Personal collection at the Rapp Auction House location in Wil, SG

  • Shipping via our logistics partner, Planzer Synergistics AG

Estimated shipping costs are as follows:

  • For domestic shipments: approx. CHF 120.–

  • For international shipments: approx. CHF 240.–

Important Note: Shipping to the USA

Shipping auction lots to the United States — regardless of category (e.g., jewellery, watches, designer handbags, coins, spirits) — is not carried out directly by Rapp Auction House. Instead, our specialized logistics partner, Planzer Synergistics AG, manages this process. Planzer handles professional packaging, transport, and coordination of customs clearance based on documentation we provide. Communication and invoicing for shipping are handled directly by Planzer.

As a free service, Rapp Auction House ensures the proper weekly handover of your goods to Planzer.
